Catherine Webb, M.D.
ORG Northwestern University Title BIO Dr. Catherine L. Webb is Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is Director of the Echocardiography and Telecardiology Laboratories at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. She and Dr. David Sahn have pioneered the use of telemedicine for diagnosis of suspected congenital heart disease in neonates, and Children's Memorial Hospital currently receives more than 1000 transmissions per year. Dr. Webb has authored numerous scientific papers, abstracts and book chapters. Among other responsibilities, Dr. Webb is currently a member of the Subboard of Pediatric Cardiology, a Data Safety Monitoring Board for the NHLBI, and is also Chair of the Congenital Cardiac Defects Committee of the Cardiovascular Disease in the Young Section for the American Heart Association. She is a graduate of Smith College, the Medical College of Ohio, and the University of Michigan Rackham School of Graduate Studies. She completed her residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan.
