Extending eduroam to Higher Ed, K-12, and Beyond: A Pilot Takes Off in Utah
Time 03/30/20 03:00PM-04:00PM
Room Grand Ballroom 4
The eduroam roaming wi-fi service has become ubiquitous in Europe and gained a strong foothold among higher education institutions in the U.S. A pilot program between InCommon (the national operator of eduroam in the U.S.) and the Utah Education and Telehealth Network has explored ways to extend eduroam to K-12 and throughout a community. This session will discuss those experiences and Internet2’s plan for a program to allow similar partnerships with other regional networks.
