The InCommon Trusted Access Platform is a community-built IAM suite of services and software, designed to solve common problems specific to higher education and research. We'll give you the low-down on where the software came from, what the individual components can do (separately and together), and some typical uses.

Choose this track if you want to learn about the concepts and terminology, starting with "what is SAML" and continuing with mediating secure access to services. Note: We recommend you stick with sessions labeled "101" for the rest of the day, as these build on one-another.

Hands-on lab: If you are comfortable with a basic knowledge of concepts and terminology, choose this track for hands-on labs, starting with using Shibboleth for authorization.
