The community-developed and managed suite provides single sign-on capability, group management, identity registries, a guest system, and other solutions to common IAM challenges

Authentication 101
This is the first of four "101" sessions over the next two days that will introduce you to concepts and terminology of key IAM topics. "Authentication 101" provides an overview of how you mediate secure access to services via single sign-on and provides an overview of SAML (Secure Access Markup Language), the secret sauce behind Shibboleth.
