CAR "Interested Parties" BoF

Time 12/11/19 12:30PM-01:30PM

Room Napoleon Ballroom D1 (3rd)

Session Abstract

With the initial publication of source code for the CAR (Consent-Informed Attribute Release) software, and the inception of the "CAR Drivers" group in June of this year, it seems worthwhile to offer a BoF, both to provide some face-time for the members of the Drivers group and an opportunity for them (and any other interested parties) to get together and discuss topics including:

* CAR applications - use cases and strategies for deployment
* Integrations (performed, planned, and desired)
* Strategies for collecting and maintaining informed content
* Topics around collaboration within the project

We hope to have some non-Duke test deployments underway by the time TechEx happens among members of the Drivers group, so the folks involved in those deployments can offer perspective in addition to Duke's experiences.

If you're interested in CAR or just the application of informed and meaningful consent to the exchange of personal information (regardless of protocol or purpose), join us for a wide-ranging discussion of all things CAR and CAR-related!
