Automated Provisioning & Orchestration for Vendor-Agnostic Networks
Time 12/12/19 03:10PM-03:30PM
Session Abstract
Manual provisioning and configuration management for network devices in a multi-vendor network environment can be a tedious and an error prone job. When running network systems at scale, copying and pasting configurations all over the place is certainly not an option specially in a multi-vendor network. This session will highlight how network engineers can abstract their network infrastructure as code using simple data modeling strategy and use various network automation tools to auto provision devices in a vendor agnostic manner followed by a demo on how NCSA is doing it in their environment. This session will also talk about the efforts NCSA has been making towards a vendor neutral Zero touch provisioning and challenges towards that approach.
