We are excited to announce that Jeannette M. Wing and Vinton G. Cerf are our featured speakers for the 2019 Internet2 Global Summit.
Wing is Avanessians Director of the Data Science Institute and Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University. From 2013 to 2017, she was a Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Research.
Cerf is Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist for Google. He contributes to global policy development and continued spread of the Internet. Widely known as one of the "Fathers of the Internet," Cerf is the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet. He has served in executive positions at MCI, the Corporation for National Research Initiatives and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and on the faculty of Stanford University.

The Internet2 Inclusivity Initiative provides support for emerging information technology women professionals to attend Internet2 technical conferences, thereby supporting their entry into the information technology field.
Nominations are no longer being accepted for the Inclusivity Initiative Award for the 2019 Internet2 Global Summit.
