Ezra Kissel (University of Indiana is a research scientist within the Intelligent Systems Engineering Department at Indiana University with experience in high-performance networking and software defined networks. He is participating on the NSF DIBBS award #1541335 CC*DNI DIBBs: Multi-Institutional Open Storage Research InfraStructure (MI-OSiRIS). This award, led by Shawn Mckee of University of Michigan with Co-PIs Ken Merz (Michigan State Univ), Martin Swany (Indiana University), and Patrick Gossman (Wayne State University), is exploring the implementation of a distributed multi-institutional Ceph-based petabyte-scale data system.
