Network Automation at the University of Michigan

This talk will give an overview of the University of Michigan's efforts to automate the management of network devices. We will cover our data management approach using NetBox and our evaluation of tools like Ansible and Salt. We will also outline our strategy for implementing this effort and discuss the training program we are creating to build skills in necessary areas like software development, source code management, data architecture, and automated testing and deployment.
