Trust & Identity Plenary: What have we accomplished, what is important, and what is urgent?
Time 10/16/18 08:00AM-08:50AM
Join us as we kick off Technology Exchange 2018 with our Trust and Identity plenary session. Come learn about what the Internet2/InCommon community has accomplished in the last year and – most importantly – what lies ahead. Learn about important and critical topics facing our community in the year ahead.
The session will start with some introductory remarks by Howard Pfeffer, CEO of Internet2, followed by some thoughts by Kevin Morooney, providing the Internet2 Trust and Identity perspective. Then three community speakers will discuss these issues: Jack Seuss, CIO at UMBC, will provide his perspective of the year-long Campus Success Program. Hannah Short from CERN will discuss important challenges in the research space, and Jacob Farmer from Indiana University will talk about the way a DevOps mindset is transforming how institutions do work.
