2018 Technology Exchange

What is TechEX? Internet2's annual Technology Exchange conference is a premier technical event in the global R&E community, convening the community's technology visionaries—including chief technologists, scientists, engineers, architects, operators and students from around the U.S. and the globe.

View the Program

Technology Exchange content focuses primarily on implementation challenges, best common practices, and future directions. We are offering a broad range of community-led instructional offerings on Monday, followed by a full program spanning multiple topic areas from 8:00 am on Tuesday running through 5:00 pm on Thursday.

Why Attend? If you've never attended an Internet2 technical event, this page provides background on the focus and range of program elements, our expected audience, and the various interactions a new attendee can expect.

LOCATION: All activities take place at the Loews Royal Pacific, unless otherwise noted! Special thanks to local hosts University of Central Florida and Florida LambdaRail.

Important Scheduling Change!

The schedule shifts forward 1 full day from previous meetings: the pre-event day (i.e., Tutorials, REFEDS, etc.) is on Monday, October 15. Folks attending the Trust & Identity “ACAMP” sessions – which extend into midday on Friday, October 19 – should plan their travel accordingly!

If you have questions, please contact meetings@internet2.edu.

All Technology Exchange participants are expected to follow the Internet2 Events Code of Conduct.
