Transnational Education Special Interest Group
Time 05/08/18 04:45PM-06:15PM
Room San Diego A
Transnational Education, also referred to as International Education Mobility, is a topic of increasing importance in the higher education landscape today. In response to this, a number of NRENs have combined efforts to set up a “Transnational Education (TNE) Special Interest Group” or SIG-TNE, led by GÉANT, to coordinate activities intended to improve data-gathering, synchronize policy work, resolve technical issues and share information and resources. This meeting of the group will provide an update on progress made on the group’s workplan in the past year.
Internet2 members with campuses, partnerships and activities abroad are encouraged to attend and learn about how to get involved in the group’s activities, and how it could be of benefit to you.
