Rob Adams is an information security professional with over 30 years of experience designing and implementing large information security programs, most recently at the University of Florida and Duke University Health System. Rob established the Information Security Office at USinternetworking Inc. where he designed, implemented, and managed a security program to support the newly formed Application Service Provider (ASP) space which was the predecessor to the cloud computing category of Software as a Service (SaaS). Rob was a Consulting I/T Specialist for the IBM Corporation where he led the design and implementation of information security solutions for IBM’s fortune 500 customers. While at IBM, Rob assisted in the design and implementation of the information security technologies to protect the networks, systems and data for the 1998 Winter Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan.
