Beyond the Brady Bunch: What's Next for Video Collaboration?

Time 10/17/17 01:30PM-02:20PM

Room Seacliff D

Session Abstract

Higher education is no stranger to video conferencing, and we've come a long way since the days of ISDN dialing and indiscernible pixilated images. But as video collaboration technologies continue to evolve, it's useful to look down the road to understand where the technology is headed. The "Brady Bunch" calls with lots of talking heads are useful, but they're not the end game - so where do we go from here, and how to we prepare our campuses for it? In this session, a panel of topic experts from R&E and industry alike will discuss the future direction of video collaboration technology in research and education.
