This event is open to all participants, your institution does not need to be a member to participate at this event!

The program is comprised of community-submitted topics, presented by engaged members of the community. The program committee chairs are established experts in their fields with have deep ties with the Internet2 community. 

The Internet2 Technology Exchange program incorporates more than 150 expert-led sessions, working meetings, tutorials, co-located workshops, and other activities.

Advanced Networking Track: Learn how to develop new and innovative ways to support emerging challenges in support of scientific research, network research, and distance education through peer-led talks and in-depth instructional sessions.

Information Security Track: Discover and stay up-to-date on security policy, risk and compliance, and IT governance.

Trust and Identity Track: Explore topics that pertain to identity and access management, engage in development of open-source solutions, and interact with members of the community in an un-conference, dynamically-scheduled atmosphere.

Applications for Research Track: Share how high-performance computing (HPC), networking, and/or trust & identity tools can help advance research in today’s higher education community.

Web-Scale Computing Track: Glance into the future of how cloud computing is becoming the norm of computing and applications.

Enhance Your Professional Development

Our attendees have the opportunity to meet with established technical professionals and Keynote speakers. Attending sessions, BoFs (bird of feathers), SIGs (Special Interest Groups), and participating in hallway networking gives you access to peers and leaders from every facet of the higher education technical community. Attendees may also fine-tune their professional speaking skills by presenting at the 2017 Internet2 Technology Exchange.
