Lagopus: High-performance SDN/OpenFlow Software Router BoF
Time 04/24/17 11:45AM-01:15PM
Room Meeting Room 15
Lagopus is an open source SDN/OpenFlow software switch (available from github (http://lagopus.github.io/)) that enables high-performance and high-scalable packet processing on Intel-Architecture servers for SDN and NFV. Since 2014, Lagopus software switch has been deployed in collaboration with Internet2 and NTT to conduct research related to video streaming between Japan and the United States. During this working group session, NTT will present an update and plan of Lagopus software switch, and Lagopus research collaborators will share recent activities from the United States and Japan. NTT is proposing a collaboration with the Internet2 community around these technologies and would like to discuss various aspects of SDN and NFV research to be addressed in the next few years within the community.
Please note that this working meeting will have access to the conference lunch. For your convenience, this lunch station will be located on the meeting room floor.
