Why Reserve a Room in the 2016 Technology Exchange Conference Hotel?

2016 Technology Exchange attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the InterContinental Miami on Chopin Plaza, the conference hotel.  When you reserve within the Internet2 block, you help Internet2 meet its commitments to the hotel and, in doing so, help keep the meeting registration rates low.

Block rate: $229/night for single or double occupancy. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable taxes in effect at the time of check in (currently 13%).  The above room rates will be available 3 days before and 3 days after the event dates, based on availability.  Rate includes in-room WiFi access.  Access code will be provided at check-in

Reservation method:  Reservations for this event are made by individual attendees by calling reservations at 1-800-327-3005 (please make sure to reference the 2016 Technology Exchange block). Attendees can also book their reservation online.

Block cut-off date:  NOW CLOSED

Important note: Should the room block sell out before the block cut-off date indicated above, additional rooms cannot be guaranteed. Make your reservations early!

Guarantee and Cancellation Policy
To avoid a night’s room and tax charge, individual reservations must be canceled at least 72 hours before scheduled arrival. After 72 hours before the day of arrival, a single night’s deposit will be charged to the credit card used to reserve the room. The hotel will deduct any collected non-refundable prepayment fees you may owe as cancellation damages.
