Licia Florio
ORG GÉANT Title Senior Trust & Identity Manager BIO Licia joined TERENA (now GÉANT) in 2001, where she started to work on mobility and authentication and authorisation aspects. From 2009 to 2014 she led the Joint Research Activity on 'Identity and Trust' in the GEANT project. In 2015, she became the coordinator of the EC-funded project AARC (Authentication and Authorization for Research Collaboration). AARC aims to address the integration of different AAIs operated by the various research collaborations and e-Infrastructures; the non-ubiquity of federated credentials; and technical and policy challenges that are ultimately hindering global research collaborations. Licia also co-chairs REFEDS (Research and Education Federations), the voice that articulates the mutual needs of research and education identity federations worldwide.Sessions and Presentations
