Executive Track: Working Lunch—A Case Study in Gravitational Waves Research and Identity Management
Time 05/17/16 11:45AM-01:00PM
We will have a lunchtime discussion to celebrate The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) breakthroughs and the critical role I2 services have played in them. We will hear from experts on what it is like working on a large multi-national, multi-year project. We will discuss what worked well; what challenges remain to be addressed; and conclude with the participation of TIER leadership to provide updates on future TIER intentions and how they relate to continuing needs of multi-institutional research projects.
To help set the stage for this discussion you might enjoy the additional information found in the LIGO magazine here.
