perfSONAR: Meeting the Community's Needs
Session Abstract
This talk will give an overview of the perfSONAR project, including an overview of the 3.4 release, a preview of the 3.5 release, an overview of the product plan, and an overview of perfSONAR training plan. Topics of note will include plans to support a significant scaling of the perfSONAR infrastructure, administer a large number of nodes in a campus environment, and support low-cost nodes. This talk will also feature a forward-looking discussion of meeting the community's needs in performance monitoring and other areas of network infrastructure.
