NSF's IRNC program supports high performance network international connectivity for the scientific research and education community in the US. This session provides an overview of this 20 year program from NSF, its current structure, updates to the program including recently funded awards, and a view on the future of international r&e networking. Additional talks from current IRNC program awardees provide additional details on network infrastructure, partnerships, and insights on challenges in supporting international scientific collaborations.
