2015 Global Summit
Thank you for making the 2015 Internet2 Global Summit a truly remarkable event!
Community: Leading the way
In 2014, the Internet2 community ushered in a new era with our first-ever Global Summit. Our community has a long heritage of sparking innovation, collaboration and transformation for all of research and higher education. With the pressures ever increasing on higher education, together we must keep facing today’s challenges head on. To truly lead the way, we must broaden our horizons, envisioning tomorrow’s challenges and tomorrow’s solutions.
- The 2015 Internet2 Global Summit will be held at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel, April 26–30, 2015.
Building on the success of the 2014 event, we are pleased to announce the 2015 Internet2 Global Summit. The theme for this year is “Community: Leading the way.”
The Global Summit is Internet2’s annual meeting that showcases how the research and education (R&E) community is transforming the way research and scholarship are conceived and conducted. The 2015 meeting will focus on the advancement of research capabilities through collaborative innovations in IT infrastructure and applications. Through strong academic leadership, perceptive global engagement and advanced innovations in networking and services, the Internet2 community continues its legacy of leading the way in expanding and transforming the global R&E community’s capabilities to advance research and academic excellence.
Once again, the 2015 Internet2 Global Summit will feature keynote addresses from top R&E leaders, presentations from noted experts, and sessions focused on partnerships and advanced technologies—all designed to inspire and equip our leaders as they transform the academy today and beyond.
