Integration in the Cloud: Open Hybrid Cloud Fabric
Time 10/29/14 02:15PM-03:00PM
To form a truly hybrid cloud, the fabric must be able to securely span all types of networks while still performing service insertion and policy enforcement. Such a fabric must also be based on open standards, software-definable, and multi-tenant capable. This presentation will present a framework for creating such a fabric to enable workloads spread across disparate cloud infrastructures to form a seamless hybrid cloud. This framework is built upon the open technologies being developed around VXLAN-GPE, NSH, LISP, and OpenDaylight. It can operate in hardware, virtual switches, and the instances themselves to provide the optimal performance for the particular environments supporting the cloud.
