Staying Out in Front: The Innovation Platform in 2014 and Beyond
Time 04/09/14 04:30PM-05:30PM
Room Governor's Square 10
In the past two years our members have deployed over 30 instances of the Innovation Platform. Many have made great progress in meeting the three requirements of Abundent Bandwidth (100G), Open Networks (SDN) and Support for Data Intensive Science (Science DMZ). As community needs and industry trends evolve, now it is time to consider the next steps for the platform to keep it, well, innovative. In this session Rob Vietzke, VP of Network Services, will provide a vision of the next, broader iteration of the Innovation Platform and the need for us move beyond the current definition to integrate compute, storage and networking to meet the needs of our campuses going forward.
