2013 Internet2 Annual Meeting

For AM2013 followup

It was great seeing you at the Annual Meeting!

The 2013 Internet2 Annual Meeting was held in Arlington, Virginia, April 21–24—the first in the new annual meeting format. The thematic focus of the meeting was "Transforming Global Research and Education". The Internet2 community explored how universities, National Research & Education Networks (NRENs) and other organizations use emerging technologies to meet research and education needs around the globe, including those of people living “at the margins” of society. Meeting sessions examined topics related to innovations in infrastructure, global R&E trends, revolutionary and disruptive applications, and Internet2’s community cloud services.

Internet2 meetings bring together R&E leaders, members, partners and guests for interactive discussions about new and ongoing work, and provide a venue for making connections and forming new collaborations. Working meetings held in conjunction with the meeting provide valuable forums where working groups, special interest groups and birds-of-a-feather groups can meet and collaborate face-to-face.
