Applications for Dynamic Circuits
Time 04/23/13 01:15PM-02:30PM
Session Abstract
Technologies to support dynamic circuit services have been under development over the last few years. Furthermore, dynamic circuit services have been deployed by ESnet, Internet2, international peers, and extended to regional networks and campuses through the NSF-funded DYNES project. The purpose of this session is to (i) share information
on applications that are currently using or proposing to use dynamic circuit services, (ii) discuss transport-layer technologies that sit between these applications and virtual circuits, and (iii) describe the effects of circuit configuration parameters on application-level performance.
