Executive Meeting: Innovating Campus Network Strategies and NET+ Provider CEO Panel (For Executives and C-level Attendees)
Time 04/23/13 01:30PM-05:00PM
Innovating Campus Network
1:30pm-3:00pm - Rob Vietzke
Topic: Campus networks are beginning a new
adoption curve for technologies and strategies that
will enable cloud services, data intensive science,
new online paradigms and globalization directions.
In this session, we'll briefly introduce major trends
in networking and then allow discussion among
executive leaders on strategies to invigorate
innovation directions in their networking groups.
How can we enable the network as an antecedent
to cloud pressures? What could we do with 100
institutions at 100G in 2014? What do we need to
build faculty support for these directions? Brad
Wheeler of Indiana University and Rob Vietzke of
Internet2 together, with other community leaders,
will introduce the issues and prompt discussion.
