Emerging NREN Science Applications: Climate, Earthquake and Tsunami Detection, Health Sciences
Time 04/24/12 08:45AM-10:00AM
Colleagues from the Emerging NREN interest group have observed the need for climate sciences to address weather prediction and disaster mitigation in the Sahel of Africa, climate change in the Mekong delta, and earthquake and tsunami detection research between the U.S. the Caribbean, Chile, and other Pacific rim countries in South America. There are also new opportunities to address health sciences. This panel of presenters will highlight relevant collaborations enabled by emerging NRENs across the world.
