Biomedicine is poised for a dramatic wave of change, in which all its constituents break through their traditional silos and begin to work in a networked ecosystem. Such a networked ecosystem will be comprised of the biopharmaceutical industry, research institutions, IT service providers, hospitals and physicians, and consumers.
