Michael Lambert is GigaPoP Manager at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center of Carnegie Mellon University. His primary role is management of the Three Rivers Optical Exchange (3ROX), a regional optical network serving Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He co-chairs the Internet2 IPv6 working group and has often been a member of the program committee for the ESnet/Internet2 Joint Techs meetings and also chairs the PennREN Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC). Prior to moving to the networking group, he was involved in supercomputing applications at PSC. Lambert is an alumnus of Wabash College and Indiana University.
