Time 10/03/12 03:00PM-04:00PM

Session Abstract

Public Media is one of the best examples of a community anchor institution. This session will address how WHYY and its sister institutions are using resources resulting from BTOP awards and the creation of U.S. UCAN to meet the challenges and opportunities facing it including:

  • Hi-speed access to core business and national content services

  • Low-cost, high-speed commodity media storage

  • Shared resources with other U.S. UCAN affiliates Utilization of regional and national
