Session Abstract
The Fate of the Future Internet: Can we get there from here?
We are at battle today for the Internet we know and love. The Internet's ability to evolve has been critical to its global growth and its success as a platform for innovation that today connects over 2 billion people. As the Internet ages, concerns mount that it is losing the critical flexibility and responsiveness to new requirements that have been the basis for that innovation platform. The deployment of IPv6 is a bellwether for the Internet's future: are we able ensure it continues to evolve as it grows? Or, will the Internet's future be limited by an inability to move beyond the status quo?
