Authorization and Intelligent Design

Time 04/19/11 04:30PM-05:30PM

Session Abstract

Are your current access controls too coarse-grained, too fine-grained, or just right? Are your access control policies attribute-based, group-based, role-based or rule-based? Can you point to where in your systems those policies reside? to where and how the policies are evaluated and enforced? The presenters will suggest how we might begin to develop common understandings and shared recommendations in this perplexing area.
