Time 04/20/11 01:15PM-02:30PM

We do not host flash-based video files on our servers anymore. Please contact Web Support for further details about netcast videos.

Session Abstract

Collaborative scientific research requires the ability to manage and share complex datasets that are often large and require careful protection to meet privacy and regulatory standards. The NCI caBIG program and the Center for the Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India, have been collaborating in the process of creating a shared cyber-infrastructure that will support these needs. The panel members will discuss approaches to supporting these needs and future directions, as well as take questions from the audience to stimulate discussion about efficient ways to support biomedical research on a global scale.
