Update on NSF Programmatic Networking Funding

Session Abstract

The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) has made a commitment to strengthening the U.S. national cyberinfrastructure (CI) through investments in large scale high performance computing and networking, in addition to computing services, software, data, virtual organizations, and education. Jen Schopf will discuss the current and future efforts within NSF Office of CyberInfrastructure pragmatic networking programs, including the International Research Connections Network (IRNC) solicitation, the networking portion of the Software Development for CI solicitation, and the Strategic Technologies for CI program.
