From Digital University to Connected Community: The Case Connection Zone.
Vice President Gonick will talk about Case Western's visionary "Case Connection Zone" project, which is bringing gigabit fiber connections to underserved Cleveland neighborhoods. This successful project has caught the attention of the White House Chief Technology Officer, Aneesh Chopra (keynote presenter at the Spring 2010 Member Meeting) who is interested in exploring the possibility of expanding the program with the help of other Internet2 member universities.
