Session Abstract
The increased video use at research and education organizations leads to closer integration of video communication into the IT infrastructure. And when this happens, the question about video networks security inevitably pops up. How secure are actually video networks?
This presentation will provide a 360 degree analysis of the security aspects for deploying video on campus, including confidentiality, integrity, availability, platform security, etc. It will look at network security mechanisms, and discuss benefits and drawbacks as well as how security mechanisms are supported in video networks.
