Building a Blended Distance Learning Model to Reach Across Alaska
Time 10/06/09 04:30PM-05:30PM
Session Abstract
Participants learn how a struggling technical program in Alaska survived and then thrived by migrating to a blended distance learning model to deliver hands-on training across the web. Discussions include overcoming technical and administrative hurdles. Participants experience how distance students can synchronously communicate and collaborate using real routers and switches with web tools such as NETLAB, VMware and Ellumninate in a distance environment.
