Commercial Identity Management
Time 10/06/09 01:15PM-02:30PM
Session Abstract
Are you struggling with how best to implement your visions for identity management on your campus? Are you getting confused with an endless stream of technologies, protocols, and products? Can commercial products help? Or, do they still just leave all the heavy lifting to you, only muddying the mix with integration difficulties? What's the right mix of commercial software, in-house development, local talent, and consulting? Attend this session to hear about how two different campuses achieved their IdM goals with the help of commercial products. The University of Texas at Brownsville uses the Microsoft ILM product and The University of Texas at San Antonio uses the Sun Identity Manager product. Both will explain their projects, what they've achieved, and the lessons they've learned from the process.
