Atlas 3D: A Multitouch 3D Network Visualization Tool

Time 07/21/09 02:20PM-02:40PM

We do not host flash-based video files on our servers anymore. Please contact Web Support for further details about netcast videos.

Session Abstract

Atlas 3d is an interactive 3 dimensional visualization tool for viewing near-realtime
network topology and telemetry data. Based upon Google Earth and employing a 40 inch multitouch
screen display for user input, this system is ideally suited for network showcasing.

In this session we will take Atlas3d for a spin and then decompose the system to examine the underlying components and technology. We will also go into detail on one of those technologies the Keyhole Markup Language(KML) and how we generate dynamic content using this open standard XML language.
