Internet2 Community sponsors and supporters were key to Member Meeting success
The Internet2 Member Meetings are a showcase for the collaborative efforts of its members. The network for the 2007 Spring Member Meeting owes its success to numerous member contributions. Dan Magorian and Quang Bach of the MAX gigapop engineered and supported the WAN connection for the meeting; Tim Shortall and Eric Gregory of the University of Maryland were instrumental in deploying and supporting the LAN in the Crystal Gateway.
Yet, there would be no network without important hardware and software resources. Hewlett-Packard played a significant role in supporting the meeting by providing 2800 and 5300 class switches used in the hotel network core, which provides connectivity to the session rooms. We greatly appreciate the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel and STSN for their continued accommodation and assistance in making our Spring Member Meetings a success.
Our thanks go out to all of these organizations and individuals!
