Modern high performance networks serve a wide variety of users ranging from scientists using web services to access large data sets to students reading email messages. Finding and fixing end-to-end performance problems today remains a challenge for both network administrators and network users. In addition, tomorrow's network infrastructures offer a plethora of new functions and features the will both improve end-to-end performance and make it harder to diagnose problems when they occur. The tools tutorial session brings tools developers and users together to help demonstrate how to diagnose today's problems and how to plan for tomorrow.
