Two Perspectives into R&E Network Security: Packet and Route Level Approaches
Time 04/26/06 01:15PM-02:30PM
Juniper and Force10 Networks are both leaders in the network security field. In the session, each will address security from slightly different points of view. Juniper will present alternatives to IETF RFC 2385, which addresses BGP/TCP's weakness to insertion
attacks. Their mechanism address CPU and key management concerns and is being presented to the IETF. Force10 will present ways in which innovative network processing
technologies enable deep packet inspection and filtering at 10 gbps while retaining programabililty for future extenstions to current applications.
