MACE-Dir Working Group Meeting
Time 12/04/06 10:30AM-12:00PM
This working group meeting offers a face-to-face opportunity for discussion of current activities in the MACE-Dir sphere. In the early
days, five to ten years ago, middleware services around institutionally maintained identity information might have consisted of LDAP and SQL access for centrally provided services. We are now in a world of federations, virtual organizations, and bi-lateral identity-provider/service provider exchanges. We will focus the discussion on the implications for institutional infrastructure. Topics will include, but not be limited to: Attribute aggregation (linking identity information from more than one IdP), OpenURL-style mediated access to service providers, and current thoughts on information models and identity schemas. Please join your colleagues in this opportunity for exchange and mutual enlightenment.
