Middleware End-To-End Diagnostics Group Meeting

Session Abstract

The group is currently pursuing three primary efforts for the diagnostic space: requirements gathering, architecture development, and technology survey. Attention will then turn to the first phase of the pilot: to study the normalization strategies of the diagnostic data; to collect and distribute the data in a highly flexible manner via piping of diagnostic data streams; and to provide simple operators to manipulate data. Through these methods we expect to enable a first set of forensic applications, and we expect these to be created by security practitioners, since they had exhibited greatest interest and energy for this effort so far.
