Results from a major survey of higher education directory deployments will lead off this session. The presentation will highlight real-world choices of how to represent the necessary information in registries and directories so that it is available for use by applications. The second speaker will introduce emerging tools and techniques for managing groups generally and authorization information specifically based on a pair of current Internet2-sponsored projects.
