CRAFT: A Prototype Meteorology Real-Time-Data Project

Time 04/20/04 01:15PM-02:30PM

Session Abstract

Over the last four years, a collaboration of university meteorology researchers, the National Weather Service, the UCAR Unidata project, and the Internet2 community has worked to make raw data from the roughly 150 NWS doppler weather radars available in real time for use in forecasting, archiving, and research. This session explores this prototype.
