Multi-Campus Middleware BoF
Time 03/07/01 05:00PM-06:00PM
Multi-campus systems, such as branches of a state university or a collection of community colleges, have an additional dimension to consider in the design of their middleware. Policies and relationships around common identifiers, directory configuration and search defaults, authoritative data sources, and PKI trust models are some of the middleware aspects that are affected by a campus being part of a multi-campus system This session, will build on the discussion which began at the fall 2000 member meeting. It will provide an opportunity to continue the search for solutions to both technical and organizational/political issues.
